Live Meetings

Live meetings use dr-video for media and room state.

Before The Meeting

  • Confirm meeting access settings.
  • Confirm transcription provider.
  • Confirm retention policy.
  • Invite members and guests.
  • Test video and audio if participants are new.

During The Meeting

Participants join through the meeting page. Depending on settings, the system can collect speaking activity, chat, live transcript segments, and recording artifacts.

After The Meeting

Depending on configuration, Democracy Routes can:

  • finalize transcripts;
  • generate summaries;
  • run post-call extractors;
  • request speaker tag confirmations;
  • prepare public updates for review.

Troubleshooting

If participants cannot connect, check browser permissions, TURN/STUN settings, and dr-video health.
